Bollywood superstar and Kolkata Knight Riders owner Shah Rukh Khan today expressed is disappointment at the ICC’s Anti Corruption Unit barring him from the team dug-out.

“I like to hang around with the boys. I am very energetic. I am very disappointed that the ICC has stopped me. I don’t know the ICC rules. I’ll tell only one thing. Nobody dare stop me from coming to Kolkata. I’ll be here whenever my team plays a match at the Eden,” Khan said.

Harbhajan Singh banned for 5 ODI matches

After the slapping incident involving Bhajji and Sreesanth, BCCI has banned Bhajji for 5 matches after he was found guilty of slapping Sreesanth during a IPL match between Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab.The incident in Mohali left Sreesanth weeping inconsolably in full view of television cameras. Harbhajan later apologised to his India team-mate
The off-spinner who has one of the worst disciplinary records in international cricket was initially banned from playing any further part in the IPL but BCCI setup a independent investigation into this incident.

Vijay Mallaya upset with his team

Vijay Mallaya the owner of Royal Challengers Bangalore, the second costliest team in the DLF Indian Premier League is apparently upset with his team after a slew of defeats. Talking to press persons at the venue of Turkish GP Mallaya said, he had entrusted the team selection process to sacked CEO Charu Sharma and captain Rahul Dravid but they have not performed well thus far.

Laxman Ruled out of remaining IPL matches

The poor Deccan Chargers team got another blow when its captain VVS Laxman sustained a hairline fracture and was ruled out of the remaining IPL matches. It has come as a big blow for the Hyderabad based team because Laxman was looking good with the bad and was set to score some big runs. The team-management has announced Adam Gilchrist as the captain of the team for the rest of the tournament and Rohit Sharma will be the vice-captain. Ironically the top run getters in IPL Gilchrist and Rohit are both from Deccan Chargers while their team has plunged to the bottom of the table with just two wins from 9 matches.
